Extensions

An extension is an installable InvenioRDM package that adds capability to an instance without forking it. It ships its own configuration, templates and web assets, and InvenioRDM discovers them through entry points, so adopting one is a matter of installing the package and adjusting invenio.cfg.

The GEO Knowledge Hub is a standard InvenioRDM instance with custom extensions, as described in the installation guides. The extensions listed here are developed for it, but they carry nothing specific to the platform. Any InvenioRDM deployment on a compatible version can install them.
