Description

OPT/NET delivered  a hybrid platform which combines the processing & automation capabilities of AI with the natural problem-solving abilities of humans. The main goal of the GOLDENAI Engine is the ingestion of different data sources into a data cube representation for a given region of interest.  The platform consists of two main components: the back-end (OCLI) and the front-end (GUI). OCLI (or opts Command Line Interpreter) processes Earth Observation Data from many different sources using AI Knowledge Packs (KPs) for a given region of interest. AIKPs are automated modules for data acquisition and preprocessing, image processing and AI processing which (a) collect the related satellite data products, (b) prepare analysis ready data and (c) provides new AI products to be visualised with the GOLDENAI Graphical User Interface (GUI). At the moment there are around 24 AIKPs available, and the one presented in the tutorial video performs clustering analysis of the determiner region of interest.  GOLDENAI platform frontend component, or GoldenAI GUI, is a general repository of data (in Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF format) which is easy and quick to interactively explore and exploit by the platform users (the public, field trial owners, investors with different authentication and authorisation access levels) assisted by a specialised AI agent with no need to download and set up specialised softwares (https://next-gui.goldenai.opt-net.eu/).
