Rainfall Anomalies from Climate Hazards Group Infrared Precipitation with Station Data (Chirps) Notebook

Description

Jupyter Notebooks allows users to document their workflow in a single place in the form of a notebook. This notebook can include executable code, text elements, and results. Access to DE Africa's Jupyter Notebooks can be accessed through a standard web browser. The Rainfall Anomaly CHIRPS Notebook contains cells with text annotations, Python code, and results from running the code.

Running this notebook will result in multiple products including: 

  • a plot of the average rainfall anomaly bar graph and
  • a plot of per-pixel anomalies showing how rainfall anomalies are spatially distributed within the country.
