Description
The Open Data and Open Knowledge (ODOK) event is a key gathering within the GEO Community, driven by the community. It brings together various stakeholders to align, update, and discuss the technological aspects of GEO's Open Data and Open Knowledge initiatives.
In 2023, during its inaugural edition, ODOK was widely praised across the GEO Community and deemed an absolute success. Its outcomes have been extensively discussed within the GEO Community, influencing the work of various working groups (e.g., Data and Knowledge Working Group) and special task forces like the GEO Infrastructure Development Task Team (GIDTT). This success should inspire confidence and excitement for the upcoming 2024 event, where we aim to maintain this high standard of excellence.
